TSR 1976 William the Conqueror 1066

TSR 1976 William the Conqueror 1066 boxed set

WEAR: The box is in NM condition and looks almost like new with just a tiny amount of wear at the very corners of the box lid. The rule book and counters are in NM unpunched condition.
DAMAGE: The box has a ding in one edge of the upper box but this is not terribly noticeable. The set is 100% complete and even has the original eratta sheet! Overall a gorgeous set for a 28 year old game!

This wargame is one TSR's earliest boxed sets. Taking place in 1066 it is a battle game of the invasion of England in 1066. Bayeaux Tapestry style box art and illustrations/counters are by David C. Sutherland III. David kept this in his portfolio as a sample of his work.
