Tekumel Games Inc. Masters Tekumel Miniatures

Very rare pewter masters of Yan Koryani figures (TK2503, TK2506) from the Tekumel Games Inc. EPT miniature line

Also, included are 5 other lead castings (TK1506, TK1508, TK1515, TK1517, TK8504). The figures are in great shape with no damage. Only two or three of the masters were ever made!

Also included with this set of figures is a 3" x 5" index card that David has written the history of the miniature(s) and his role in creating it. Fantastic bit of TSR and Tekumel Games Inc. history. Signed by David.

These miniatures are pewter masters for making new molds (except for TK1506, TK1508, TK1515, TK1517, TK8504 which are lead castings). After a miniature is sculpted out of green epoxy a mold is made and then the first masters are made. The masters are the figures used to make a new mold if the original mold wears out. The pewter is harder than lead and holds the detail of the original mold much better than lead.

David is the sculptor for these beautiful miniatures. He sculpted them for the Tekumel Games Inc. Empire of the Petal Throne miniature line for Professor M.A.R. Barker. They are very rare (EGG was none too happy with David, despite that he was working on these at home, as Barker had been "forced" out of TSR at that point). The pewter masters were never released to the public and the bases are unmarked. The lead castings are marked Tekumel Games Inc. 1986 on the bottom.
