D&D B3 Palace of the Silver Princess Orange
TSR D&D B3 Palace of the Silver Princess (recalled orange cover)
The module is in Near Mint condition: 6 faint small 1/4" creases along the spine of the cover and only slight bumping and wear to the corners. The upper left corner of the cover is slightly scuffed. Very faint wear occurs along the spine in three areas on the front cover but not the back. The module was in shrinkwrap for years but the shrinkwrap shrank, split, and fell off. As a result of the tightening of the shrinkwrap, there is still a slight waviness to the module cover and booklet. The original shrinkwrap is still with the module but is loose.
This is it the recalled version of B3 Palace of the Silver Princess by Jean Wells! One of the most notorious of D&D items for it's history. This is the module that was recalled because of a number of problems, not the least of which was the objectionable art found within. But objectionable by whom? I'd say perhaps all of TSR employee's (including one very irate senior executive) so rudely depicted on the head of the very strange creatures called ubues! Others have their opinions, saying scenes of bondage are evident and other sexual innuendos.
Whatever the reason, the fact that the module was recalled and only a few thousand escaped destruction has made this one of the most sought after collectables of the Dungeons and Dragons game.
You might have the green cover version edited by Tom Moldvay but then you would be lacking the original artwork, plot, back story, and finale to the adventure! The two adventures are significant enough to be considered different adventures. Now you can decide!
This is the benchmark for collector's worthy of their salt. If you don't have one, now is your chance!
