Luke Gygax "Zorko" D&D Character Sheet 1984
Lucien or "Luke" Gygax was quite young when he started playing Dungeons & Dragons, so he was often given bit parts and temporary characters to play. This character, "Zorko" is one of his later "independent" characters. As related by Ernie, Luke often had difficulty playing a "bad guy" because, well he was just a nice little kid. As he got older he found it fun to play all sorts of alignments and characters. "Zork" is a good example, as he is a Chaotic Evil magic-user! This character was written up by Luke in 1984 or 85.
This character was created for a campaign being run by Gary Gygax while the family was out in California. To aid "Zorko" Gary created a few NPC characters to tag along with him. These NPC's appear on a second sheet in Gary's handwriting (with notes and details appended by Luke). The NPC characters written up by Gary include Zeflorrac, a half-orc magic-user (trained by Zorko but then became very powerful) and a dual classed human fighter/assassin named "Zrat". What a nice bunch of (thoroughly Chaotic Evil) guys!
A neat collectable from the Family that brought us D&D!
