Dragonlords Ave Tenebrae Froideval 1982

This set of rules is designed to play out pseudo-Medieval fantasy battles that take place in the land of Froideval. This is the first edition of the game. There was also a second edition in 1986 and an expansion, Fiefs et Empires, in 1988.

This game was given to Gary by Francois Marcela-Froideval. Gary and Francois were friends and collaborators on a number of TSR projects, including Monster Manual II and Oriental Adventures, although the latter saw little of their work used. Francois worked for TSR from 1982 until about 1989 in various capacities but mainly translating TSR products into French.
