New Set of Robert J. Kuntz Auctions!
Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 1:40PM Exciting news! After a series of successful auctions a decade ago, a recent meeting with Rob Kuntz and The Collector's Trove has led to a brand new series of auctions by the famed game designer, author, and gaming legend.
The auction will include over 500 lots including some of the rarest and most sought after books of science fiction, fantasy, mythology, and film. Along with these are wargaming and roleplaying games, and magazines. Included will be numerous games and magazines produced by the various companies Rob wrote for and designed for such as: TSR, Creations Unlimited, Troll Lord Games, Different Worlds, Necromancer, Kenzer, and many others. Highlights of the auction will include limited, numbered editions, inscribed and autographed copies, editorial and review copies, author's and comp copies, reference library copies, and personal reading copies!
Among the very special items are Rob's incredible science-fiction and fantasy reference library of over 400 books that inspired the design and development of Chainmail, Dungeons & Dragons, and Rob's numerous projects over the years, a fantastic assortment of manuscripts, letters, and maps, a one piece, full-sized, never folded poster map of Rob's Greyhawk Castle's Original Bottle City suitable for framing, and Rob's vintage, 1976 file copy of Gary Gygax's original, hand drawn map for The Lost Caverns of Tsojconth!
