The Collector's Trove is proud to bring you the first set of auctions from the Allen Hammack collection! These items were acquired during the last 45 years of Allen's amateur and professional involvement with wargames, roleplaying games, strategy games, and board games. Allen worked for seven years as an employee of TSR, the company that founded the roleplaying game industry.
The auction will present over 200 items including tournament modules for Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, Boot Hill, and Top Secret, TSR employee memorabilia, editorial and development manuscripts, author, developer, and editor's library, review, and comp copies, autographed and inscribed copies, and personal play copies. Highlights of the auction will include a great selection of TSR pins and buttons, a nice run of TSR's employee newsletter, Random Events, TSR business cards, early Origins and Gen Con programs, badges, t-shirts, and memorabilia! Among the very special items are the manuscript for Advanced Dungeons & Dragons I9 Day of Al'Akbar, original Bill Willingham artwork for the Collector's Edition of Ghost Tower of Inverness, original Tom Wham office humor art, original tournament character sheets from Origins II, Expedition to the Barrier Peaks, and Gen Con XI Against the Giants, and Allen's personal play copy of Dungeons & Dragons from 1976!
